These images are more than fifty years old. They're part of a project I've been working on recently. I started the project when I came across a box of old photos that had been collecting dust for a good amount of years. I looked at at them and was immediately hooked. The colors, the fashion, the cars...pure nostalgia. When I saw that all the photographs came with negatives I decided to digitize them. It was just too many memories to just have them sit on a shelf. I bought myself a Kodak negativ scanner and went ham. Four days as nearly 2500 pictures later I was done and I was super happy with the results. One downside to those negativ scanners is the fact that the resolution is not that great. It works for viewing them on a computer, anything larger than a screen though and the images start to crumble. I decided to gather my favorite negatives and sent them to a film lab to get them properly digitized. A couple of days later I received the .tiff files. Scanned using a Noritsu scanner the resolution was amazing but given how long those negatives had been sitting in a box for the colors had started to fade and the filmmaterial had started to crack. So I threw them into Lightroom and did the best I could to restore them back to their original beauty. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do
